Get answers to common questions about Laser Consultation.

During your Laser Consultation we review medical history, assess skin and hair, discuss goals, explain treatment options and timelines, perform a brief skin evaluation, and create a customized plan. You’ll have time to ask questions and review next steps tailored to you.

A typical Laser Consultation lasts about 20–45 minutes depending on complexity. We’ll cover medical history, contraindications, realistic outcomes, expected number of sessions, pre- and post-care, and any patch testing, so you leave with a clear roadmap for treatment.

Yes — skin tone and hair color influence recommended lasers and settings. During consultation we evaluate pigmentation, hair thickness, and previous treatments to select safe, effective protocols. Darker skins or light hair may require alternative approaches or realistic expectation discussions.

We recommend avoiding recent tanning, chemical peels, or waxing for at least two weeks prior. Please shave the treatment area 24 hours before if instructed. Bring a list of medications and any photos of areas you want treated for a productive consultation.

Treatments can often begin within one to two weeks after your consultation, subject to any recommended pre-care or scheduling availability. If a patch test or medical clearance is needed, we’ll outline timing so your first laser session starts safely and confidently.

We discuss individual pricing, package discounts, and single-session costs during the consultation. You’ll receive a transparent fee estimate based on treated areas and required sessions, plus financing or promotional options so you can choose a plan that fits your budget.
