Get answers to common questions about Half Face Removal.
Most clients require a series of 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, depending on hair growth cycles, hair color, and skin type. We assess progress and adjust the plan for optimal, lasting reduction.
Discomfort is generally mild and described as a quick snapping sensation. We use cooling and adjustable settings for comfort. Topical numbing can be applied on request to minimize any sensitivity during the session.
Avoid tanning and sun exposure for two weeks, stop waxing or plucking at least four weeks prior, and shave the treatment area the day before. Avoid topical retinoids and strong exfoliants unless advised otherwise.
Common temporary effects include redness, mild swelling, and slight sensitivity for a few hours to a couple of days. Rarely there may be temporary pigment changes; we provide aftercare and follow-up to manage concerns.
Laser effectiveness varies: darker hair responds best, while very light or gray hair may be less responsive. We offer different laser technologies and a consultation to determine the safest, most effective option for your skin tone.
Aftercare includes gentle cleansing, avoiding sun exposure, and applying SPF daily. Avoid harsh exfoliants for about a week. Most people return to normal activities immediately, with only mild redness or tenderness expected.
