Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart to target active hair follicles. Results vary based on hair thickness, color, and hormonal factors. Many patients notice visible reduction after two to three treatments, with continued improvement thereafter.

Most clients experience mild, brief discomfort described as warming or snapping. We use topical numbing upon request and integrated cooling technology to minimize sensation. Technicians adjust settings for comfort while maintaining effectiveness, ensuring a tolerable treatment for nearly all skin types.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least two weeks. Shave the area 24–48 hours before treatment; do not wax or pluck. Inform us about medications, recent procedures, or hormonal conditions to tailor settings and ensure safety.

We use FDA-cleared lasers with adjustable wavelengths and settings suitable for a wide range of skin tones. Darker skin may require specific wavelengths to avoid pigmentation issues; lighter, fine hair can be more challenging and may respond more slowly or require additional sessions.

Common immediate effects include mild redness, swelling, or follicular swelling that typically resolves within days. Rare complications include pigmentation changes or blistering. Follow aftercare instructions—cool compresses, gentle skincare, and strict sun protection—to reduce risks and promote smooth healing.

Laser permanently reduces the number of active hair follicles, but it cannot change underlying hormonal influences. If hormones stimulate new growth, maintenance or touch-up sessions may be necessary. We evaluate history and can recommend treatment plans alongside medical consultation if hormonal causes are suspected.
