Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Back Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycle, thickness, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and lead to finer hair over time; individual results vary, but maintenance sessions are recommended every four to six weeks.

Some discomfort is normal, especially during first treatments. We use professional techniques, high-quality wax, and soothing pre/post-care to minimize pain. Take a mild pain reliever beforehand, avoid caffeine, and schedule sessions when your skin is calm. Communicate with your technician for adjustments.

Waxing may not be recommended for active sunburn, open wounds, severe acne, recent chemical peels, or certain skin conditions like psoriasis or eczema flare-ups. Inform your technician about medications, topical retinoids, or blood thinners to assess suitability and avoid complications.

Exfoliate gently 48 to 72 hours before to remove dead skin, keep hair about a quarter-inch long, avoid sun and tanning, and skip moisturizers on the day of service. Arrive clean and inform your technician about allergies or recent treatments.

Keep the area clean and avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy sweating, or tight clothing for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer and hold off exfoliation for 48 hours. Begin gentle exfoliation after four to five days to prevent ingrown hairs.
