Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lip Threading.

Most clients enjoy hair-free results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and hormonal factors. Regular appointments can extend smoothness by reducing regrowth visibility and maintaining clean hairline precision.

Threading can cause mild, brief discomfort, similar to plucking. Our technicians use calming techniques, quick strokes, and soothing pre- and post-treatment products to minimize pain. Most clients report tolerable sensations and immediate relief after completion.

Threading removes hair from the root, which may lead to softer regrowth for some people, but it doesn't permanently stop growth. Consistent treatments can make regrowth appear finer and less noticeable over time.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and avoid heavy exfoliation or tanning the day before. Inform your technician about medications or skin sensitivities. Light exfoliation a few days prior can improve results but avoid immediate pre-treatment scrubs.

Avoid touching or applying heavy makeup for several hours. Apply soothing gel or cold compress to reduce redness. Avoid intense heat, exfoliation, and strong skincare acids for 24–48 hours to promote healing and prevent irritation.

People with active skin infections, severe acne, rosacea flare-ups, or recent chemical peels should avoid threading until healed. Pregnant clients with specific concerns or those on blood-thinning medications should consult their physician and inform the technician.
