Most clients experience minimal discomfort thanks to medical-grade topical anesthetics applied before and during treatment. Sensations are typically described as light pressure or tingling, and any irritation subsides quickly. Our technicians prioritize comfort and take a steady, gentle approach throughout the appointment.

Results commonly last 1–3 years, with fading influenced by skin type, sun exposure, and skincare products. We recommend an initial touch-up 6–8 weeks after placement and maintenance sessions every 12–18 months to keep color crisp and shape refined.

Certain conditions can preclude treatment, including pregnancy, active eye infections, recent laser or chemical peel near the eyes, keloid tendencies, or certain autoimmune disorders. Medications like blood thinners may also require consultation. A pre-treatment screening ensures safety and suitability.

Initial color may appear darker and slight scabbing or flaking can occur over the first week. Full settling takes about 4–6 weeks. During healing avoid water, heavy sweating, pools and eye makeup. We provide a detailed aftercare plan to ensure optimal results.

Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and excessive sun exposure for several days before your appointment. Discontinue retinoids or exfoliating eye products as advised. Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and inform your technician of any medical history or medications.
