This Turkish lady, she has done both my hair and my mom’s, and every time the experience has been amazing. She is not just a hairstylist she is a true artist.

She has such a beautiful eye for color, shape, balance, and detail, and you can tell that every step is done with intention and care. She really takes the time to understand what will look best on you instead of rushing through the process.

What I also love about her is how kind, patient, and welcoming she is. My mom loved every second of her appointment, and we were both so happy with the final result. The hair looked elegant, polished, natural, and beautifully done.

After years of being a highlighted blonde (and being frustrated that the color wasn't turning out the way I wanted) I decided to ditch the salon prices for DIY at home hair bleach and toner. It looked as bad as it sounds... orange, yellow, uneven color all over my head. I went to Four Seasons salon in desperate need of some help and they fit me in the same day! Cemal is the absolute BEST. I drive an hour in from Maryland just to have him do my hair. The color is always just right, and I’ve literally never received a better blowout. The curls last 5 days through wind, humidity, sleep, everything. His haircuts look gorgeous with my natural 3A curls or when I straighten my hair, which is such a hard-to-find combo cut. He is always always always worth the time and money to see, I recommend him to anyone I can.

I was also super happy to see Fatima, who is always so sweet and attentive. She’s very knowledgeable on products and at-home care to keep your hair looking nice and healthy until your next appointment. She does great eyebrows too!!

The salon is gorgeous. It felt like a luxury experience at a reasonable price point. I wanted to get a mani while I waited on my hair, but their nail tech had left for the day (it was well past 7pm, so reasonable). They gave me a voucher for a free mani the next time I come in. So kind!!...more

I recently started losing my hair. I started treatment 3 weeks ago and so far this has been an extremely emotional and mentally taxing journey. My hair has been really long for years now but with this new adventure, my husband suggested maybe a change could help ease some of the stress. I have tried MANY higher end salons in LoCo from Ashburn out to DC and everywhere in between, booking with salon owners or master stylists to get the level of attention to detail or even just the eye for how to cut layers well for my hair and face. I expressed this concern to Akram at our consultation and he reassured me that he stands by his work and will make any adjustments if I leave and am unsatisfied in a few days. I asked if he blends his layers by fine tuning with a razor after blow drying and he literally did the entire haircut and dry cutting with his razor! He listens, he makes you feel at ease in his chair, he's kind to his assistants/co-workers, he's intuitive, and he gives a fantastic scalp massage before blow-drying your hair. 5 stars all around!...more

My SIL has been going to Akram for almost 20 years. I haven’t lived in VA since 2013 during my last visit “home” - I decided I needed to get my hair cut by him.

Literally THE BEST. I have thick, long, wavy hair. He didn't know what he was getting into, since I’m a new client, and during my cut he realized it might take more time than planned. He asked before he kept me longer than an hour - which I appreciate!

He basically did a consult first to understand how I wear my hair and cut based on that. I totally trusted him as the expert.

He blew it out, tho I wear it “natural” 90% of the time. And it looks just as awesome that way too. 10/10 recommend Akram.

I’d give Martha 1,000 stars if I could! She’s amazing and did a great job on my balayage and cut. I had been with my last stylist for years but have had a hard time scheduling with her, so it was time to look for someone new. I looked at reviews online and decided to go to four seasons, SO happy I did. If you want hair color done, call them immediately and book an appointment with Martha!

Additionally the salon itself is immaculate and clean. It’s located in the Ashbrook commons shopping center, which is convenient. The person who helped me book my appointment was super friendly. Can’t say enough nice things about my experience here. Note they only take cash tips but there’s an ATM in the salon....more

I was a walk-in shortly after moving to the area, and I was lucky enough to be placed in Akram’s chair. For starters, he took the time to do a thorough consultation before even touching my hair. He told me as he began my trim that he was going to give me the best haircut I’ve ever had. I thought, “Sure, okay.” Boy was he correct!! I never knew that a skillfully done haircut could quite literally transform my mane! No more frizz. No more bad hair days. I was astounded. I followed up with a color service a couple weeks later. Again, Akram took time to thoroughly discuss what I did and did not want, did and did not like. The outcome was the best hair color service. My greys, which usually began showing again within a week, didn’t start showing again for 5 weeks. The highlights, which usually needed toning within a week or two, were perfection from the time I left his chair all the way through until my next appointment. To say that I am thrilled is an understatement.

At my last appointment, I brought my 4 month old. I was a bit worried that having an infant would present an inconvenience to those working in the salon, but the entire staff was so gracious, kind and accommodating. Rosa, who does the BEST shampooing, was so doting and sweet.

Let me tell you ladies! I had to find a hair salon who I knew I could trust right away for an event and had to work early in the morning!! I called this salon a night right before they closed and they picked up my call and they said can you come at 8am in the morning and we can get you situated! Last Saturday was my first time at Four Seasons Salon & Spa but the experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. My nail artist, Ruby, seemed very annoyed with me when I wasn't fast enough for her. She was ill-mannered, impatient, short toned and not friendly AT ALL!!

For someone to pay so much to get a full spa deal (massage, nails and hair) you would think there would be better service in general. I went there to relax and get pampered on my birthday, not to feel like a bother to someone. I am very displeased by this and I'm not sure I will go back or recommend this place to anyone. However, my masseuse and hair stylist were good which did uplift my spirits some.

The owner took the extra effort to reach out to me and apologize for the way I was treated. She offered to make things right and I am editing my review to reflect that. Four Season is the BEST salon I have ever been to! I have had several terrible experiences with my hair to the extent that my hair could have been forever damaged do to incorrect chemical usage. My hair stylist at Four Season's has not only helped physically repair my hair but also helped me emotionally deal with the damage. My hair stylist and I always have great conversations. Called at the last minute to get a color, cut & style for my daughter and I was worked in as well for a cut and style. I had one of THE BEST shampoo/massages I have ever experienced. The staff was exceptional! TIM, our stylest, was absolutely wonderful and funny!! He explained why and what shade of coloring should be used (and he was absolutely right). He also explained to my daughter (who has very thinning hair) why she should go shorter on her cut--never thought I would see her hair short again but she now looks ten years younger and more vibrant and she is only in her mid-thirties. We had the couples package groupon. The experience far surpassed our expectations. You can tell they really try:
Jennifer gave me a great massage, Kim gave a great mani-pedi (my first), and Elia was a very friendly hair dresser who subsequently gave me a good haircut. Although we live in Arlington, we will take a trip back to Four Seasons (Dulles) again soon.
